VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System
The mobile unit arrives on Wednesday night and is in service throughout the
day on
on Thursdays, doing about 10 PET-CT scans. The CT scans are non-contrast and
have protocol specifics such that they do not substitute for a diagnostic CT.
The
images are processed and read on the 7th floor in the Nuclear Medicine reading
area using a MacPro and two 30' Apple displays.
NOTE: Patient must be NPO for at least 4 hours before the study.
